Returns Policy

Returns & Exchanges

Monogrammed or embroidered items are merchandise sales considered final. If you believe the final product differs from your order requests, please contact us immediately. We will review the complete order with an internal investigation and determine if your instance qualifies for an order reproduction.

Spirit wear, other stocked merchandise, and defective goods may be returned with authorization from Masterpiece Monogramming and an original invoice within 7 days of purchase. Customers may make return claims by calling (810)742.2901, e-mailing mstmonogramming@sbcglobal.net, or visiting our location.

Cancelation and restocking

Immediately following your order acceptance, we will review the order and purchase the required blank goods from one of our several wholesale resources. An order cannot be cancelled once the goods have had any part embellished. Customized goods are not returnable to our wholesale firms, so we cannot credit you for any placed order that has been decorated.

If you elect to cancel your order after we have already purchased the wholesale blank goods, but before they have been embellished, we require that you pay a 20% restocking fee. The restocking fee represents our real costs to return the blank items back to the wholesaler. We must always pay a restocking fee to return any goods as well as the freight costs to transport the goods.

Please note it is extremely important that a customer pay attention to all the specifics in the order sign-off process so the end result is correct. This process includes garment selection, embellishment locations, sizes, colors, fonts, spellings, and graphics. The customer’s signature confirms that these details are correct. Any errors present on a signed off invoice may appear as errors on the final product, and are not the responsibility of Masterpiece Monogramming.

Misprinted Garments or Items

Occasionally a few items are misprinted and are distinctly different than the correctly printed or embroidered order. Also a garment or item defect could have made it past our quality control and been included in your overall job. If this is the case with your order, please contact us with the specific item(s) and problem. In most cases, Masterpiece Monogramming will credit you back the cost of the misprinted or defective items from your invoice. If the misprint quantity is larger than 2% of your total order, then you may qualify for having the individual items replaced.

Order Deposit

Customers are asked to pay a 50% deposit at the start of an order and full payment upon order completion or pick-up. This deposit may be waived at the discretion of Masterpiece Monogramming. Large orders over $1,000 will be subject to a deposit regardless of prior agreements.

Deadline Times

Our standard order production time for both print and embroidery orders is 10 working days (about 2 weeks). Please note your job production time will not start until all customer approvals are final and a deposit is received. The average deadline may be delayed due to wholesaler stock limits and backorders or work order overloads. Customers will be promptly notified of delays. Orders may be rushed but are subject to additional charges at the discretion of Masterpiece Monogramming.
